Skinboosters

So-called “skinboosters” are literally skin boosters. Here, hyaluronic acid is used as a base, however in a much more diluted formulation, to act as a more intense moisturizer for the skin, from the inside out. Here the function of hyaluronic acid is to hydrate, rejuvenate, and not as a filler or a smoother of expression marks. Associated with hyaluronic acid, we can use vitamin complexes that enhance the revitalization of the skin in Orofacial Harmonization.

Patients who present facial aging, as an adjunct to facial structuring and filling treatments, and who need more hydration, skin luminosity. It will always be an assistant, another tool available to our vast arsenal of Orofacial Harmonization.

There are several ways to apply skinboosters, always through microneedles that infiltrate the skinboosters very smoothly. The procedure is always performed under topical local anesthesia (cream), and it is very comfortable to perform. They do not leave marks on the skin after application, rarely a slightly purplish spot due to a small vessel touched during application, but that disappears in a few days. The care will be small in the postoperative period, properly guided by the professional.

As it is a very non-invasive procedure, it has no contraindications other than the usual ones for any use of hyaluronic acid, it rarely causes an allergic reaction.

Three applications are recommended, with an interval of thirty days between them. After that, a biannual or annual reassessment to control the harmonizing treatments.
