Orthodontics

Orthodontics

It is the specialty that consists of correct dental alignment, often caused by differences in size between the maxilla and mandible. Incorrect positioning can cause masticatory, joint, phonetic and even postural problems.

Currently there are several solutions for the correction of these problems, in an evaluation consultation the orthodontist will make the proper evaluation.

1. Braces

The conventional fixed dental device, which consists of placing brackets on all teeth, where hoops and elastics are placed, allowing the pressure made by these to align and level the teeth. In this case, there is no concern on the part of the patient to put on or remove the device, but it requires greater hygiene care as will be indicated by the orthodontist.

2. Invisible device

The appliance is invisible and is the latest and most innovative orthodontic solution.
A treatment consists of several aligners. The more complex the case, the more aligners are needed to complete the treatment effectively. The movement is initially programmed in a software, in which the patient can see the evolution and the situation in each stage and the final result that will be possible to achieve.
It is a practically imperceptible device, which makes it more aesthetic, and is removable, thus allowing better mouth hygiene and food chewing. It should only be removed at the time of meals and teeth cleaning.
