Endodontics
Commonly called devitalization, this is the specialty of Dentistry that deals with the inner part of the teeth (pulp – nerve and blood vessels) and consequently the area attached to the roots. It consists of removing the inflamed or infected pulp from the canals, disinfecting and filling them with a material that prevents bacterial proliferation.
Most treatments are carried out in one or two consultations, but in some more complex cases, more time may be required.
