Rhinomodeling

Rhinomodeling

Unlike rhinoplasty, a more invasive procedure to correct the shape of the nose, rhinomodeling consists of strategic filling and small corrections, performed using hyaluronic acid and materials such as bioabsorbable tensor threads, to make the nose more harmonious and natural, especially in relation to the mouth and adjacent structures, such as teeth, for example. A balanced proportion between the nose and the mouth is essential to make the set much more pleasant and balanced.

After a careful clinical and photographic evaluation, where the patient will discuss what can be harmonized in relation to the other structures around the nose, strategies are planned that aim to unite the whole set in a pleasant and non-invasive way for the patient. The entire procedure is performed under local anesthesia and is therefore painless. It does not require great post-operative care, just occasional care.

Rhinomodelation is an exclusively aesthetic procedure, with no functional character. The goal here is to smooth out some less pleasing details to the ensemble, such as the angle between the nose and upper lip, the tip of the nose, or even the width of the wings. It is not a plastic surgery procedure, it is much more subtle, in addition to being reversible, another important feature.

The duration can vary greatly depending on the amounts of volumization and techniques, but between 12 and 24 months on average.
