Microfocused Ultrasound
Also known as HIFU (High Intensity Focused Ultrasound), the microfocused ultrasound is a device that emits ultrasonic waves with varying depths into the skin, according to the region of the face to be worked on. These waves create points of retraction that act as “buttons” beneath the skin. One session can create up to ten thousand points of retraction, achieving the only non-invasive “lifting effect”.
It acts in the fight against aging of the face, causing a non-invasive lifting effect, in addition to having a biostimulating action, in the production of new collagen, making the skin much firmer. It is an excellent option when used in conjunction with other Orofacial Harmonization therapies, in addition to difficult work places, such as the neck, for example.
It is a painless procedure, does not require the use of prior anesthesia or important postoperative care. The heating caused during the emission of the ultrasonic waves is perfectly tolerated.
Increasingly, the norms for medical intervention focus on prevention, so that the healing effects, over time, are simpler and milder. There are people who have a greater tendency to sagging skin, therefore having an earlier indication, which varies from case to case. However, from the age of 30, the production of collagen by our body decreases substantially, which is the most important level to start prevention. Over the years, the needs evolve to other options, isolated or in conjunction with other techniques.
A clinical evaluation consultation of Orofacial Harmonization can answer and clarify the need.
